A year full of wonderful firsts, punctuated only by depressive episodes and breakdowns - what a rollercoaster ride 2022 has been, with major life changes and milestones (a solid 8/10)
📚 Dropped the idea of pursuing MBA, a long standing dream, to follow my passion
🏡 Shifted to a new home after 2 decades - from a joint family of 15+ to a nuclear family of only 4
🏆 Received ‘Innovative Women Entrepreneur of the Year’ award by Smt Smriti Irani
👩🎨 Switched career for the third time; recently handed over my startup to my younger brother to become a full time artist (yay living my post retirement dream already)
🧳 Travelled quite a bit - visited Spain, Bali, Assam, Jaipur, Mcleod (first ever solo trip), Churu, and Andaman
🧘♂️ Got introduced to Buddhism and observed complete silence for 10 days (wanna do this again)
📱Deactivated instagram for 7 months - for someone who spends 5hrs daily on social media, this was a big win!
🌊 Got diagnosed and dealing with a chronic clinical mental disorder
👫 Prioritized my personal relationships - reconnected with long-lost friends and made many new ones! Also spent my 27th birthday with very warm and kind strangers-turned-friends (special memory)
🎨 Managed to do half of inktober despite a fractured right index finger
📖 Read 15+ thought-provoking books!
The 25 years old me would be so proud of how far she’s come in 2 years, how she’s faced the internal demons head on, and made unconventional choices! Wildly excited to see what 2023 has in store for me.
